\"\"SEHEL Island is situated 3,2 km from Aswan and can only be reached by boat<\/u><\/b>. It is located in between the islands Philea and Elephantina. The small village center is situated 500 m from the B&B SALUGA and is definitely worth a visit. Also the famous HONGERSNOOD STELE should be passed by. On this site primitive drawings and hieroglyphic texts were applied on granite rocks centuries ago. The recurring gods are Chnoem, Satis and Anukis. When you climb to the highest top, you can enjoy a marvelous view. Around 200 inscriptions and primitive drawings dated from the 6th Dynasty until the Ptolemaic Empire are to be found on the island Sahel.<\/div>\n

\"\"B&B SALUGA is built at the edge of the island, on the bank of the Nile and with a view of the by Unesco protected landscape. The house is located on a cliff and is situated 52 meters above the river surface. The small authentic village center can be found 500 meters further down. The goal of the B&B consists of a direct collaboration with the local people in order to create extra job opportunities. We try to work with locals as much as possible so they can make some extra cash. This only intensifies the heartfelt, honest and welcoming reception you can expect from the Nubian people.<\/div>\n

Rooms available from 13.00 hrs on the day of arrival and until 10.00 hrs on the day of departure.
\nFor a stay of 7 nights or more we give a 10% discount on the room rate.
\nIf you rent the 4 guest rooms with your family or friends, we give a 10% discount on all rooms.
\nUpon arrival there is free transport to B&B SALUGA for a minimum stay of 3 nights. Hagi will welcome you personally at the airport.
\nOn your return to the airport, you will have to pay the transport costs yourself.<\/p>\n
